The Human-in-the-Loop Mandate

All use of AI tools at Praxis Performance is subject to human review. While we utilize state-of-the-art technology for data analysis and operational efficiency, every clinical recommendation, biometric interpretation, and client communication is reviewed and approved by our Practitioner-in-Residence. Technology augments our judgment; it does not replace it.

The Ambiguity & Scope of Practice Protocol

We operate within the strict professional scope of exercise physiology and metabolic coaching.

• The Escalation Path: If any biometric or kinematic data presents results that are ambiguous or indicate a potential clinical concern beyond our scope, the session is paused and the data is flagged for medical review

• Medical Deferral: In these instances, the report is transmitted directly to your referring medical provider for specialist evaluation. We do not diagnose, treat, or prescribe.

The Zero-Kickback Ethical Standard

Our primary acquisition channel is a referral architecture built on clinical trust with providers at Keck Medicine, Huntington Health, and City of Hope. This trust is non-negotiable.

• No Referral Fees: We maintain a non-compensatory referral architecture where zero fees are paid to or received from referring providers

• Client-Direct Benefit: We do not engage in "kickbacks." Any operational efficiencies or institutional discounts are applied directly to the client's benefit

• Clinical Integrity: Our partnerships are built solely on the shared goal of improving patient healthspan and reducing hospital readmission risk

Data Integrity & HIPAA Compliance

In an era of data insecurity, we treat your biological information with the highest level of protection:

• The Clinical Vault: Your longitudinal reports — containing visceral fat area trending, phase angle trajectory, and bilateral force data — are stored within a SOC 2 Type II compliant, HIPAA-certified Electronic Health Record (EHR) platform

• Hardware Security: All practitioner-side data access is protected by hardware-based Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), exceeding industry standards

• Data Retention: Clinical records are maintained in accordance with California data retention standards, ensuring longitudinal data integrity for long-term metabolic tracking

• Scope of Practice: "Exercise as Medicine" describes our operating methodology and does not imply the practice of medicine. Praxis Performance Studio LLC does not diagnose, treat, or prescribe

• Independent Operation: All clinical referral partnerships operate under collaborative, non-prescriptive agreements
